BUILD A CORAL REEF Pool PROGRAM

How a Child's World Can Be Easily Enriched

Our program is educational yet fun. It's designed to provide children with a sense of adventure and wonderment about local and not-so-local marine ecosystems; to help them understand the role of the marine ecosystem and its direct impact on peoples' lives; and to show them how science has real-life applications.

Your child will learn how a marine ecosystem works by actually building one. We'll teach snorkeling. Conduct educational and fun pool games. Build a replica coral reef. Learn how to protect the aquatic environment. And help practice thoughtful ocean stewardship by teaching specific actions to help protect our waterways. All while exploring a breathtaking new world not far from home.

  • 60-minute pool program
  • Hosted at various resort locations
  • Suitable for ages 8-12

To participate in this Deep Blue Discovery pool program, RED CROSS level 3 swimming ability is required. All pool programs include equipment rental and snorkeling instruction.

“My children and their friends took Jeff's build a coral reef class. They were ages 12, 10, 9 and 8. They all truly enjoyed learning about Coral Reefs and nature and the Oceans. Jeff is so good with the kids and was able to keep their attention! Getting in the pool with snorkels was a fun experience for them all. I would highly recommend this class. The comments from the other Moms were nothing short of fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Jeff!

“My son and his friends loved Jeff's snorkeling and reef building program. As a parent, I enjoyed it especially because they were learning something while having fun too."

– Larry Shell, Parent

"Jeff presented his program at our pool. The kids had a blast learning how to snorkel while being educated about the ocean, marine life, and coral reefs. We are looking forward to having Jeff and his fish come to our pool this summer."

– Candy LeBlanc, Pool Director, Air Station Cape Cod
