| Deep Blue Discoveries |
| The Deep Blue Discoveries program grew from my love of exploring the underwater world of New England and my desire to encourage students to explore this unique and dynamic environment. As a child, I spent my summers on the Cape. On my way to the beach, I would pass a cove, so I grabbed my mask and snorkel and dove in - and I have been exploring this unique and dynamic world ever since. My love for the ocean motivated me to become certified as an open water diver and then later as a divemaster. In addition, I have a Master of Arts Degree in Education and Human Development. After working both as a dive volunteer and volunteer marine educator at The New England Aquarium, I wanted to share my love for the ocean with students, and thus I have created Deep Blue Discoveries. I look forward to taking your students on an underwater tour of the New England marine ecosystem in your own classroom.
